Feb 1 - 18 - 23

Character and players in the game tonight:

We will be staying at the house as before.

The day passes with no issues.

Perrol get a message from Lady Giroflee (aka Julienne) about booking passage.

We booked a boat ride to Bridgerton at no cost with being guards for the trip.

The boat leaves in 4 days.

The boat trip will take 13 days to get to Bridgerton.

With a horse, it will take  22 days to reach Ytheis.

Horses will cost 5 GP for all our mounts and 15 SP for food for the horses. (Party funds will be used for this cost.)

Kross will get:

Cooking Spices (4 weeks of use) for 4 SP

20 AP Arrow for 2 GP

20 days of Trail Rations for 2 GP

= 4 GP 4 SP

Kross will go with Perrol to see Heather. Heather is out of town.

We leave and get to Bridgerton with out any issues.

We unload the horses and are heading towards the town bridge. The others spot 2 humans (paladin and fighter) maybe talking about our group.

We head towards the two. They are Michael and Hamilton.

We are informed that people are after the priestly orc.

We leave the city, four days out on Kross’ watch he will hear some light running. Will hear a female voice saying “Help”. Poked two others awake. We find a young girl in need of help. Her father had accident with the wagon.

Perrol and Ghoral go to help.

They bring back the father and two kids. The kids are wary of Glandslag and Glaive. Perrol plays some music to calm the kids.

Jarlyn used a healing potion.

The father is healed and fit to travel. He head on their way.

Oct 13th - 14th

Spent 10 xp to raised Kross SPD from 3 to 4.

We meet Oldest Manis, thanks us for our help and leaves. We are left with Julian. She offers us a house (with some staff).

Next day, we go shopping.

Arrow supplies

  • AP Arrow: 1 gp per 10 - will get 25 arrows for 2 GP.
  • Normal Arrows: 4 sp per 10 - will get 2 sets for 20 arrows for 8 SP.

Kross got declined service in the magic stuff shop because his history.

Magic Supplies

  • A sets of 3 Smoke Sticks
  • Gillyweed (1 )

As part of a package deal, paid 2 GP and 8 SP. Updated the Current Equipment list.

Will meet with Oldest Manis in two days and tonight will meet with Julian.

The Blue Men Group

Oct 6th - 13th

in the Fort

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

Afternoon time. We are glowing blue and we are running towards to big bad’s tent.

We get to the edge of the camp before we are spotted.

Battle begins.

Glaive runs by one orc, slices it open and it goes down.

Perrol fumbles his attack.

Kross will fire two Bolts of Blasting towards the feet of the two guards, knocking them down for a total of 20 orc. (Damage: 21 S 7 B and 15 S 5 B)
Ghoral ran by the orc and missed.
The orc looks around and runs away.

Two sets of two tent bodyguard move from the left and right of the tent.

Kross will fire off two arrows (that glow blue) at one of the orc tent bodyguard. I hit his hand turning it to ground beef and nailing him in the chest killing him.

Orc and goblin are coming around the tent from the left and right.

Kross will fire off the last Bolts of Blasting to a group off to the right of the tent. Knocking a group of 13 down. (Damage: 29 S 8 B) With a 2nd arrow hits one in the vitals, killing him.

With the group off to the right, the 7 orc/goblin run away.

Three shadow come out of the shield around the tent and come towards Perrol and Jarlyn.(Kross does not see this.)

(The blue glow gives us a 1d6 K added to the damage and 3 DCV to armor.)

Kross will notice the 5 orcs that were knocked out, look around and run away.

The tent flap will open and the biggest orc we have seen steps out and lets tent flap close. He is standing behind the shield. He says, “You will feel the wrath of Sungraig.”

Some skeletons are rising from the right.

Sungraig steps out from the shield. Kross will fire two arrows into the chest with max damage, killing him.

The necromancer steps out to show him to be the Lord Marshal.

We are able to get the shield down and killed Lord Marshal/necromance.
With displaying the heads of the Lord Marshal and Sungrai, the enemy desperses to the wind with out looking back.

We get the Stone and find it to be part of a alter.

We find 4 Gold 8 Silver

We eventually get the tablet out and call the ship back. We eventually get the tablet out and call the ship back. On the way back to Tietha we are intercepted by a warship that escorts us back. We are met by some Paladins from Favored of Kilbern and a couple Hellreavers. Aldus Manus and Julliene meet us. They take the stone to a temple. There is a discussion among the high priests in town. We find out that it was an alter from one of the red gods churches, Lord of the Graven Spears; extremely evil. Aldus Manus asks us what we need; we have time to think.

Sept 12th - 16th

We are practicing some new skills while Jarlyn heads off to the Mage Academy.

Jarlyn comes back and mentions that he was has been followed.

We decide that we are going to have lunch back at the in and Bob tags along.

We get there and have some food.

Perrol sings.

A Ulronai is spoted durring Perrol’s set. He comes over to the table and a feel of dislike comes over the group.
Perrol and Jarlyn do their checks and Kross can only tell by basic body language that they did not find anything negative about the Ulronai comming our way. 
Says Greeting, we offer him a chair. He carefully rearranges his weapons and haves a seat. Says his name is Deltarion.
Perrol says that he knows a story of  him. He shows off the sword, there are 3 runes on the cross bar. He displays the sword blade by half exposing the blade from the scabbard. Perrol tells us a story about the sword (see above post).

Night passes and Day breaks x 3 days.

At the end of the day, there is a message for us to meet up in the morning.

The next day we meet up with Julian. Says that her scout have not returned yet. She asked us to help her out and take up our old job, with the missing scouts and the problem with the Orcs and Goblems.

Sept 11th - 12th

Character and players in the game tonight:

Flash back: we find the out the Silvered Long Sword is related to the holy symbol (Godest Moon - Salea). We return it and get a single boon.

We are thinking about looking into the orc.

We walk into the Inn and see Mr. Miggins over at the corner table with 2 pitchers of beer (one empty and the other half empty). We are waved over to his table. Drunk happy. All but Ghoral go over. He orders 2 more pitcher of beer for us. He tosses a bag of gold onto the table. It is the 30 gold bounty for the guy in the Black Armor, which was part of the local Red Tallon. Mr. Miggins does mention that in ten day the locksmith building is going BOOM.

Perrol gets on stage and sings a few songs and does effect the croud durring the last song. Durring the song these two large guys come in and have a word with Mr. Miggins. Says after one more pitcher, he will leave. The two “guys” leave and after the pitcher is gone, so leave Mr. Miggins with a said goodbye. The mode livens up as Perrol continues to play.

Night passes.

As we walk towards the normal location, we see Bob sitting on the wall. He says hello. Says Chad was sealing the cursed city.
Glaive is wanting to learn some magic.
Kross was helping Perrol with his archery.
Perrol is wanting some history from Bob.
Ghoral is wanting some Martial Arts.
Kross is wanting to expand his current Martial Arts weapon usage.
Not sure what Jarlyn is doing

Sept 10th - 11th

We are heading over to the temple.

Said the Underdark guy like to deal in children, due to their minds are easy to mold. Said to be centered around central western lands.

Night passed.

Perrol goes to market for armor.

We head over to the Palace.

We ask for the Lady in Waiting of Giroflee. We are take to Julian.

We are informed there has been attempts on the Regent Mother’s life.

The museme want to have a look at the paintings, ceramic mask and ewer.
The wizards want to have a look at the orc book.

Was offered a place to stay on the the grounds.

Ghoral see his brother.

We goto the Boar’s Head Inn for a room. (2SP each per night)

Night passes.

We see about picking our stuff up.

A certain amount of Gold for the orphanage.

Sept 10th

We head back to the wizard’s office, he fiddles with a device and then says that it is now safe to talk. Julian is they with us.

They are surprised to hear of the gnome city, the dwarven keep and the Underdark.
We tell them that the disease is still there, but only on magiced items.

Kross will show the picture of the guy that teleported in. From Julian we find out that he is a follower of Kal-turak.

We tell them of the kids and some of the basic history of the people.

Asks about leader, inform of the Dwarf in black armor with a battle axe. Said that he was a Captain with the slavers. There was a bounty of 30 GP. Will show them the dented black armor.

Julian and the Wizard will ask to see the paintings.

We suddenly find Chad and Bob in the far corner behind the Wizard and the Priest.
They say they will be sealing the Gnome city. Say that the Dwarven Keep will no longer be needed to be maned. Asks Ghoral  to talk to his brother about sealing the Keep also. Will need a answer in 3 days.

They say the Gnome City is sealed at this time.

Chad says to Kross that he had a talk with my family and I do not have to worry about the marriage issue.

After all said and done, they disappear.

After we leave, Julian says we can talk tomorrow.

August 17th - 18th

We get back to the inn with no troubles. We set up normal shift for the night.

* Segment 12
Durring Ghoral shift, Kross wakes up and hear Perrol yelling about the Spector attacking.

*Segment 4
Kross is 3 hexes away, will grab his weapon and wait.

* Segment 6
The lights go off. Darkness is all around.

* Segment 8
The darkness disapears and the Spector is disapearing, leaving the weapon on the ground.

The battle ends.

With KS: Undead, Kross recalls that if any living creature that touches the undead weapon, it will cruble into dust. Kross will go over to the weapon and touch it, saying “Done”.

We have morning meal and pay off our bill. (Pay our outstanding bill of 4 SP each.) [-4SP]

We leave and head off to the temple, on the left on the building top a person is spotted with a crossbow. Kross will go off to the left and head over one extra block and then head up to the top of a building with his bow and a blunted arrow. Kross will conseal himself by 8. Will get a head shot and he goes down. Will get up and look around and go over to the guy, finding him unconscious. Will tie him up, drop the crossbow over the side and pick him up and take him over the side down to the others. Will search the body and find a Red Dagger tattoo and two potions (one healing wounds and a cure poison). We will drop off the guy off at the guard loaction. Kross will hold onto the crossbow and the two caped leather wraped bolts.

We contunie onto the temple to see a priest of Hospin. We inform them of the trip down below. We are given some potions:

5 Healing Potions
2 Remove Cures Potions

We head over to Bob and Chad. We do not find them.

We head over the Locksmith location of the entrance to the underground. We go inside to meet up with the other. There are 35 days worth of rations for 5 people available for when they have to be quarantine for 20 days.

They offer  the following:

  • Climbing Kits
  • Lanters and oil for it.
  • 3 sets of throwing knives.
  • 2 sets of lock picks
  • some crossbow bolts and arrows
  • info on the language of the underdark
  • First aid supplies

We go in and they rased the shield.

Questions of Gifts

August 17th

(Kross has recovered and is back to normal.)

There is  a knock on the door, “Is everything alright?”. We confirm that it is.

The night passes with out issue.

We head down stares for our morning food. After we eat, we head out to the temple district.

We were just about there when Perrol takes a arrow/bolt from the rear and goes down taking 42 stun.

With Perrol down, Kross will head towards a alley and up to the roof to have a look around.

Looking around and not seeing where the shot came from.

The area looks clear, no sign of the attacker. <This was a hit and run attack.>

Battle Over

The bolt is picked up for later reference. (Later at the potion shop.)

We head to the temple of Aladan and find out the following:

They are refered to as Guild Masters. Yanna has the contacts, both the legal and the illegal ones. There are second ring of lieutenant, mainly in local city as a contact for that area. The four are the public faces of the group. The teleporting could be item based.

We head to the Temple of Varidon and find out the following from Coriries Gellantara:

Valmarrellian, consider a master of sorcery (mind control/illusions). There are item that would protect vs sorcery.

Will be sent word of a meeting to meet with a person that sell item that would protect vs sorcery.

With that done, we head over the potions shop for Jarlyn to pick one up. Due to price (and the reason for the price increase), he does not buy it, but Perrol and Ghoral each buy one. Perrol also asks if he can have the bolt analyzed to determine what the ichor is and if there is a possible antedote. It cost 5 sp to have done.

We head to wizard academy to find what the research team found.

Aaron is not currently avail and will do be avail till tomorrow morning.

We head back to the Inn and find a dinner invation for tonight at the palace. We get dressed up and bring small weapons. Kross was able to tell that we are being tailed by one of Julienne’s people. We get to the gates with no problems. We get two privates to escort us to the palace. We go thru the service entrance to bypass the nondowells. . . .  nice dinner, others are also being honored.

Kross is gifted with:
4 x Arrow - Bolts of Blasting - Once a day the arrow will explode on impact. Area effect fire damage. (Can be retrived and reused)

Ghoral - necklace to prevent audiovisual attacks
Perrol - atlas and language primer necklace of shapeshift

August 16th - 17th (Early Morn)

After talking to Julienne, we head over the Mage Academy to talk to Aaron.

Valmarrellian likes to controll people. Has a dangerous wond. The wond has lots of stored energy

We try to see Egor and find that he is not available. We are taken to the sub-basement and find four desks with people at it (Egor’s assistant). We talk about ways to stop or block teleportation and . Will have the four assistants research the two topics. (For my part, will chip in 4 SP.) Should be done with the reseach to be completed by noon the next day.

Perrol spots a cat that is looking at him strangely.

We make it to the church grounds and are able to Matthias (second to Aldus Mannus).

Leaders of  the Red Tallon: 1.  Arvaga, 2. Kelgae Coalbeard, 3. Valmarrellian and 4. Yanna Windhand

Kross will see some small animals watch the group. Will notice a cat near us, as we get close it hisses and run aways. Another time, will notice a crow watching the group. As Jarlyn goes under it, its sounds out with a call out. Kross will stop the group and inform them of what he saw.

We inform Helen Gaius (High Priestess of Hospin) about what we found out about the people disappearing. Has offered her help if we precede to investagate more (food or healing potions for example).

We find out the following:

Yanna Windhand (female) is responasable for a number of priest; mainly a  thief.

Arvaga has been disowned from the Vestria  House of Altonshar and is considered to be the unoffical leader of the group. It is rumored that he and Kelgar started the Red Tallon.

Its getting late and we head back to the inn. Perrol notice a dog watch the group and is able to figure out it is watching Kross. We get make it back with no problems.

We set normal watches. Durring Jarlyn watch . . . Kross took 4 Body and 9 Stun. Kross will wake up to see a spectral figure over himself with its hand in his stomach. Kross yells out in pain.

The figure takes his hand out of Kross, reaches into its robes to pull out a scythe.
Kross is dodging. (+5 DCV) Kross is able to tell the creature is Undead.
Jarlyn casts Turn Undead

* Segment 3
The creature turned tail and runs away.

Battle Over

Kross is looked over and after a little time, Kross is fealing better. After some time, Kross recalls that the creature is a Wrath.

Game ends for the night. In the day time hours, the group will need to talk to the following next week:

Priests of Aladan (Knowledge, Wisdom, Learing and Lore)
Priests of Varidon (God of Magic and Wizards, aka The Great Wizard)
