Character and players in the game tonight:

We head over to the other door marked “J”. With Ghoral, Jarlyn, Glaive, Perrol and Kross for the walking order. Ghoral went to step in the room but spotted the pit in the floor and jumped over it. Spot a tunnel that looks like they were dug thru. Ghoral & Glaive go thru to find themselves in a room with the door marked “A”. They see a lever near the door and a odd section of the wall on the south wall. Perrol reviews the switch and does do find the lever traped. Perrol will pull down the lever and Perror will hear something on the other side of the wall. Perrol will go around and have a look. Will find some braces have extended in the trap. Will reset the trap and lock the trap to safety. With the spot on the South wall is pressed to revealed to a small closet (with nothing in it). There is a another dug passage in the East. We go, find a T section, head South. Find a split and we nead West to a room labled “U“. We see a section of the wall that looks adjar. The secret door leads to the door marked “R“. Looks to be a costume and prop room with 6 big wooden chests. Stuff is thrown about the room. We search the room and find nothing we were looking for. With heading out, Kross and Perrol hear something behind them. With Kross in the doorway, Kross will see something humanoid shaped with a wolf mask on (which we can see thru it).

 * Segment 12
Glaive will slide thru the door, sliding past Kross and doing some damage to the creature.
Perrol will also slide thru the door, sliding past Kross and doing a little damage to the creature.
Kross will drop the bow and pull out the sword and nailed the creature in the Vitals with some good damage.
Jarlyn will cast a Turn Undead and it had no effect.
Ghoral swings and embeds his weapon into the wall and falls on his ass.

* Segment 3
Ghoral will get up and pull a different weapon.
Glaive will slip by Ghoral to stand next to the creature.

* Segment 4
Perrol will hold.
Kross will pick his bow and stand off to the side.

*Segment 6
Glaive will move up to the creature. Disables the creature. Dead.

End of Combat.

Perrol: Uses MageSite, will look over the creature and find it glowing along with Ghoral. Ghoral will drink the Remove Cures Potion. Perrol will see the magic disapear.

We head up the stares and find a door marked “J” Will open and look thru . . . . will see a door marked “N“. We look around. A spot on the SouthWest wall. The door is triggered. Perrol will MageSite and fells that magic is all in the room. No evil is found in the area.

Glaive and Ghoral will go in the empty room and look around. Some invisible stuff in the room. Perrol will have a look in the room. Perrol will get a flash and see on east wall, something is leaning against the wall (like a painting) with a blanket (?) droped in front of it. Perrol will turn the item around and lean it back againt the wall. Glaive will try to take the item out of the room, but only get half way towards the door and find her hands empty. Perrol heard something brush along the floor. We are able to get the item and they appear now in solid form. First was a landscape, second is a fantasy shot, . . . we get a total of 6 painting in total. From what Kross can tell, a few are worth around 150 gp each. We drop off the paintings back to our storage room.

We go to explore the Western area that some passages ran thru. We find a room that has stares up to a throne with two pillers. Right before the passage splits left and right, there is a cherub face on the wall. There is a snooring knome on the throne. Perrol can tell the whole area is magical. Jarlyn does step up to the cherub face and it comes alive and asks for “your finest coin to talk to the king”. Feeds the face with a gold coin and it goes quiet. All but Kross go up to the throne. The king on the throne is a illusion. The king starts mumbling:

Betrayed we are by our own magic,
One by one, we fade away
Jadrizrune’s lost!  Oh how tragic!
We curse the vanishing day.

There is a compartment found in the armrest. Open to find:

9 gold coins
2 steel rods (marked as “N” and “E“)

We head over to one of the “E” doors to try out the door. Ghoral steps up, uses the key and flames shoot out. He steps thru and he heals up after a minute. We meet up at the home base room by going thru another path.

It has been a day and we rest up.

The odd things we see down below.

August 18th

Kross dropped the lantern and it went out.

* Segment 12
The action has started back up, Perrol walks up to some rubble, that looks like part of the pillor. We hear screech next to the piller.
Kross will move up and fire a arrow with a perfect shot in the stomach (looking like it is dead).

Some creatures come out of the rubble. Two of them attack Kross, with one hiting him in the head right hand for a little damage. (1 body damage)   [Used a Hero Point to move the location from the head]

* Segment 3
Glaive does a attack doing some damage to one of the undead creature.
Ghoral attacked and demolished the undead creature with one shot.

* Segment 4
Moved away for the action and fired a arrow, but as Kross pulled the arrow back, the arrow disintegrated (blinding him for the next turn, 0 OCV for range attacks and half for melee attacks).

Two of the creature attacked Kross, doing a little damage (1 body damage).
One of the creature attacked Jarlyn, doing no damage.

Glaive does a double attack doing some damage to one of the creature.
Ghoral attacked and demolished the undead creature with one shot.

* Segment 8
Kross will go into dodge mode, being the center of attention.
Jarlyn attacked the creature in front of him, making it screech. Both of the creature runs away.

Battle over. (Took 2 body damage.)

Perrol finds something shinny. A box with elven script on it. He opens it to find a music box with a key in it. From Ghoral, the box is worth 15 to 20 gold.

Kross is looking around the room for tracks. Did find some small size prints, but not the larger sized we are looking for.

We are looking westward down the hallway, seeing some flickering light that look like torches. Looking eastward, some stares that lead into darkness.

We head westward and find a lit room with a wooden stage on the left. A gnome in a bear costume comes out on stage. Its a magiced show. Kross spots a trap door on the stage.

The door goes down under the stage. Perrol decides to goes down into the trap door. He yells “something is moving”. We see a tentacle move under him and one grabs the metal ring.

* Segment 12
A tentacle comes out and grabs around Ghoral.
Kross is holding off on his attack. The trap door is closed.

Battle ends.

The tentacle thing is making some noise.

The others are move back to the stage, open the trap door and Ghoral jumps down and see the creature. Then he kills it. Kross is not sure what it is. It has 10 ft arms and legs.

A chest is found with a cloak, a wond and a metal rod with the “J” rune on it. All but the rod are magic.

Ghoral put on the cloak. Perrol looks at Ghoral with the cloak. Sees that Ghoral stars to glows a little like a magic item.
There is a story that this city had a plague that was caused my magic.

We go back to the first room with the first “J” door. The key is used and the door opened. Not much is found.

August 17th - 18th

We get back to the inn with no troubles. We set up normal shift for the night.

* Segment 12
Durring Ghoral shift, Kross wakes up and hear Perrol yelling about the Spector attacking.

*Segment 4
Kross is 3 hexes away, will grab his weapon and wait.

* Segment 6
The lights go off. Darkness is all around.

* Segment 8
The darkness disapears and the Spector is disapearing, leaving the weapon on the ground.

The battle ends.

With KS: Undead, Kross recalls that if any living creature that touches the undead weapon, it will cruble into dust. Kross will go over to the weapon and touch it, saying “Done”.

We have morning meal and pay off our bill. (Pay our outstanding bill of 4 SP each.) [-4SP]

We leave and head off to the temple, on the left on the building top a person is spotted with a crossbow. Kross will go off to the left and head over one extra block and then head up to the top of a building with his bow and a blunted arrow. Kross will conseal himself by 8. Will get a head shot and he goes down. Will get up and look around and go over to the guy, finding him unconscious. Will tie him up, drop the crossbow over the side and pick him up and take him over the side down to the others. Will search the body and find a Red Dagger tattoo and two potions (one healing wounds and a cure poison). We will drop off the guy off at the guard loaction. Kross will hold onto the crossbow and the two caped leather wraped bolts.

We contunie onto the temple to see a priest of Hospin. We inform them of the trip down below. We are given some potions:

5 Healing Potions
2 Remove Cures Potions

We head over to Bob and Chad. We do not find them.

We head over the Locksmith location of the entrance to the underground. We go inside to meet up with the other. There are 35 days worth of rations for 5 people available for when they have to be quarantine for 20 days.

They offer  the following:

  • Climbing Kits
  • Lanters and oil for it.
  • 3 sets of throwing knives.
  • 2 sets of lock picks
  • some crossbow bolts and arrows
  • info on the language of the underdark
  • First aid supplies

We go in and they rased the shield.

Questions of Odd

August 16th - 17th (Early Morn)

After talking to Julienne, we head over the Mage Academy to talk to Aaron.

Valmarrellian likes to controll people. Has a dangerous wond. The wond has lots of stored energy

We try to see Egor and find that he is not available. We are taken to the sub-basement and find four desks with people at it (Egor’s assistant). We talk about ways to stop or block teleportation and . Will have the four assistants research the two topics. (For my part, will chip in 4 SP.) Should be done with the reseach to be completed by noon the next day.

Perrol spots a cat that is looking at him strangely.

We make it to the church grounds and are able to Matthias (second to Aldus Mannus).

Leaders of  the Red Tallon: 1.  Arvaga, 2. Kelgae Coalbeard, 3. Valmarrellian and 4. Yanna Windhand

Kross will see some small animals watch the group. Will notice a cat near us, as we get close it hisses and run aways. Another time, will notice a crow watching the group. As Jarlyn goes under it, its sounds out with a call out. Kross will stop the group and inform them of what he saw.

We inform Helen Gaius (High Priestess of Hospin) about what we found out about the people disappearing. Has offered her help if we precede to investagate more (food or healing potions for example).

We find out the following:

Yanna Windhand (female) is responasable for a number of priest; mainly a  thief.

Arvaga has been disowned from the Vestria  House of Altonshar and is considered to be the unoffical leader of the group. It is rumored that he and Kelgar started the Red Tallon.

Its getting late and we head back to the inn. Perrol notice a dog watch the group and is able to figure out it is watching Kross. We get make it back with no problems.

We set normal watches. Durring Jarlyn watch . . . Kross took 4 Body and 9 Stun. Kross will wake up to see a spectral figure over himself with its hand in his stomach. Kross yells out in pain.

The figure takes his hand out of Kross, reaches into its robes to pull out a scythe.
Kross is dodging. (+5 DCV) Kross is able to tell the creature is Undead.
Jarlyn casts Turn Undead

* Segment 3
The creature turned tail and runs away.

Battle Over

Kross is looked over and after a little time, Kross is fealing better. After some time, Kross recalls that the creature is a Wrath.

Game ends for the night. In the day time hours, the group will need to talk to the following next week:

Priests of Aladan (Knowledge, Wisdom, Learing and Lore)
Priests of Varidon (God of Magic and Wizards, aka The Great Wizard)

August 15th - 16th

Kross is currently upstares looking down.

Gnorm (the gnome) is mumbling about that they are going to kill him.

Gnorm is making master keys for his locks. They have most of the keys patterns of his locks.

The dwarf on the ground is a Deep Dwarf .

We are going to look around the store. Kross will draw out his sword.

Gnorm says that they are coming up thru his store. He shows up a secret passage under the stares. He opens it and a dark hole and a ladders top is seen.

We hear a Chink Chink Chink from outside. Ghoral goes to the door and almost runs into a dwarf (dwarf).

* Segment 12 (+1 OCV)
Glaive move over to the dwarf. She sees his face and looks scared.
Perrol recalls the mark as a Red Tallen and is a slave. Perrol yells out that he is a Slaver.

The dwarf: Short Sword (on his belt), Shield and a bid Warhammer. Stocky. Some thick armor (7).

Ghoral took a good hit.  Everyone takes 20 stun (sound). Kross is dazed and recovers this round.

* Segment 4 (+1 OCV)
On the 2nd floor, Kross will move over to the window and spot 2 crossbow dwarfs across the street. Will tell the others.
Jarlyn uses some kind of dust weapon, that imprisoned the dwarf.

* Segment 6
With a little red flash, the dwarf disappears.
Kross still see the two (dark) dwarfs with crossbows.
Ghoral says something to the crossbow dwarfs.

* Segment 8
Kross will go out the window amd up to the roof. Ghoral says they surender and they drop their crossbows.

Battle Over

Kelgar is the name of the leader dwarf.  They say that a Elf with a long name is their magic person. Look to be partners. Valmarrellian born in Elven Home, left elvin society a centry ago. Mercenary type. Magic of the minds.

Perrol recalls:
I remember stories of an Elf called Valmarrellian, born in Elvenholm, left elvish society at least a century ago.  He is more of a cold-blooded mercenary who lusted for power.  He started to study sorcery and the manipulation of people’s minds.  He was asked to leave Elvenholm.

The others go inside with the 2 dark dwarfs, while Kross will stay on the roof keeping a eye out.

Was given a map of the underground.

With the gnome and the 2 dark dwarfs, we head off to the station. After about 4 blocks, the 2 dark dwarfs start to freak out. We spot a inn. We head in, wait and have a drink (Perrol and Kross). After a little time we head back out and stick to sides. We make it to the station. We tell the officer that we have info on the missing family. We speak to a higher ranking officer about what we find out.

We leave and take Gnorm with us, to keep him safe. The night passes with out issues.

We head to the palace and meet up with Julienne. We forgot to tell the others about the dead dwarf that we killed.

There my be only one entrance to the underground city. It was thought to be sealed off at one time.

Who can we find.

August 15th

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

Morning starts. We decide to see Bob and find the gate locked. Glaive is able to open the lock on the gate. We look around and see no signs of Bob or Chad. Kross did find some tracks that suddenly stop. Looks like they have moved on.

We head on to the temple. We see a bunch of loiterer around the courtyard.
We ask to see Aldus Mannus, we are stonewalled a little, but we are able to see him. We find out that he is tired, but required some rest.

There has been a disappearance, a family from their house. We offer to help. A letter is written up and sealed. Told to give it to the guard station in the merchant area for access to the missing family’s house. We goto the guard station and infrom them that we want to look over the house of the missing family. Guardsman Smith is given to us as a escort.

We are look around outside the house. Kross find parts of some deep tracks heading out from the main door.

  • Two sets.
  • Boots.
  • Humanoid.
  • Wide like a dawarf.

The house has a mix of  old cheep stuff and some new new stuff.

Perrol found some little bag with some darkish (gray/black) powder in it. Which we are able to find out that it is a sleeping powder.
Glaive finds out that the windows were not tampered with.

Perrol found hidden in the wall, a bag of coins (~10gp ~30sp & 2 gems) and a ledger.

We are done looking around, Guardsman Smith asks us to walk him back to the station. We head back to the house to have a re-look at the tracks. Once there Glaive said she found 5 kids blocks that are Ulronai.

(Made a Tracking roll by 12) Kross is following the trail into the merchant district. See that they tried to cover their trail. The trail leads to a store front that has a key symbol on it (in the old part of town). A Lock Smith. Gnorm (gnomish). He is well known and respected. We go in and find Gnorm (on stilts).

Ghoral is standing outside. Kross is in the main room and the others are in the back room.

Glaive signal there is ”Danger” and “Come Over”. Kross will call over Ghoral. He comes in and goes in the back room. Kross will move into the back room. Will see the back of the stocky dwarf with a mace.

Glaive will get two shots that take the dwarf down.
Kross will head upstares. Will see a door to the right and a door down the hall.

Battle over.

Game over for the night. Will pick up in two weeks.

Search, Spot and Deal with the issue.

August 14th

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

The Regent Mother is still not awake. Perrol offers a healing potion. The guards are looking uneasy with their Captain dead. The potion is given to the Regent Mother. The scar is still there and is now showing to be asleep now.

The others are checking area for signs of Evil and Magic.

Perrol is at the bookshelf pulling some book off a bookshelf, finding a button.

The Captain’s body is take away by a honor guard.

Regent Mother is sturing. She has a mild concusion and can be moved. Four guards are called in to assist in moving the Regent Mother.

Ghoral is going to push the button, Kross and Perrol will be steping back. The button is pushed. Something happens, but we do not know what happened. Perrol is playing with the books and the bookcase. Kross is steping back, way back. Perrol found 3 books that are showing magic. Kross is outside the room, to be safe. Kross will come back into the room. They found 4 of the spy devices that was bought from the mages. We leave them there for the Intelligent Division.

After about 10 min, Julienne will walk in with two non-guards which survey the room. The Regent Mother will want to talk to us in a few day. We tell Julienne what happened. A mage is called to have a look at the glyph.

A wizard comes into the room and comes over to Julienne. Ask about the trouble we had, Julienne says that we have it under control. (This is probable the wizard that the Lord Marshall is chummy with.) Julienne does not tell the whole truth about what happened to this mage.

We are escorted out by a guard, he walks with us for a while. He offers to buy us a drink, due to us saving his ass. Gives his name as Paul. Call him if we need some help. We get back to the hotel  and got our drink. We talk about getting rid of the listening device.

Ghoral takes off the device. Jarlyn spots something outside. Wants Kross and Ghoral to stay in the room and talk, while the others go outside by the front door. The others try to capture the guy that was listening in with the device. He bolted and Glaive yells out that he running. Kross will get off two shots of his blunt arrows with two his to the back, which make him stumble a little. Glaive is able to grab his leg, but does not slow him down too much. Perrol missed the grab. Kross fired two more shots with the blunt arrow, one to the sholder and one to the head. He goes down.

Perrol is able to find the earpiece. Jarlyn carries the guy and Kross’ arrows are retrived. Ghoral and Perrol goto the door. Glaive and Jarlyn are in the alley with the guy. Kross is across the street on the building roof opposite the inn. Kross spots some movement on the second floor. Ghoral and Perrol talk to person who answered the door. Seeing the all clear, Kross will come down and find out that the person was part of the town guard. Was using the porch to spy on us. The guy is young and probably a green recruit.

Jarlyn and Kross will head over to the palace to talk to Julienne, while the other stay with the prisoner.

Kross notices that we are being followed (about a half to full block back). A person walking, no weapon out, will notice a sword and dagger scabbard. We continue on. We are taken to see Julienne. As we are on the palace, Kross will notice the guy jump over a section of the wall, also see a guard look that direction and make a note. We are taken to the Lord Marshall’s office, where Julienne is with here two minions and the guy that was following us. Kross will mention “I see that you beat us here.” Julienne will say that she will send someone to pick him up. Ask how they are doing, say they has a Wizard come and gone. He could be outside the city by now. We will ride with the wagon to pick the guy up.

We arrive with the wagon to meet up with the other guys. They say they saw someone else watch them, it was one of Julienne’s people. Was waved over. They take their prisoner and leave.

The night progressed with out any problems.

To deal with a Lord.

August 14th

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

We are taken to the lady’s waiting room. We find Julienne there with the Regent awake. The Regent sends the other away (except the Captain of the guards).  We take a seat. She thanks us for getting her on her feet.

Julienne got into the Regent’s room and surprised Bob. He had knocked her out. Julienne had found out that Bob had visited the temple for the post 150 to 200 years (by discription from the temple records).

The Captain asked why we on the grounds. Told that we were summoned by 4 palace guards (maybe on the side of the Lord Marshall).

We are going to pay a visit to the Lord Marshall. Will give Julienne 15 min to get to the Regent’s son. We are talking with the Regent while we wait.

We go. The Regent leads the way with her 8 guards and her Captain, with us behind them.

We see a maid that is Julienne, the Regent nods to her and Julienne leaves.

The Regent has a sturn look on her face and is getting some looks as she goes. Get to the door and open it directly.

The Captain walks in, the Lord Marshall (sitting at the desk) says “What is the meaning of . . . “. The Regent walks in with the guards.  “My Lady, how may I help you?” We knotice he is stressed. We walk in. (There are 6 guards are in and 2 are outside at the door.)

There is some talking between the Lord Marshall and the Regent. The Regent defers to us for what he he had for orginal summoned us for.  There is a slight pause before the Lord Marshall starts talking. ** From Jarlyn does his Detect Evil and see the Lord Marshall is EVIL and there is some evil in the floors below. ** Perrol is talking with the Lord Marshall.

Suddenly there is darkness. (Made my Perception roll.)

* Segment 12 (+1 DCV)
<Darkness> Kross will draw his sword and hold the other half of his action.
<Light> Jarlyn used his light ability to light area. We a Shadow creature like the one we battled in Wickshine.
Glaive attacks.
Kross will move up behind the Shadow creature.
Jarlyn moves. <The Lord Marshall, from his desk, does something and there is a noise at the door.>
Ghoral moves.
The Regent moves behind Jarlyn and says that people with magic weapons attack the creature and those with non-magic weapons get the Lord Marshall.

* Segment 3
The Shadow misses the attack.
Glaive attacks.
Ghoral misses.
The Lord Marshall points and says something, with nothing happening.

Perrol attacked.
Kross attacked and hit for 8K damage in the arm.
Jarlyn will attacks. The creature screams.
The guards move.

* Segment 6
The Shadow speaks to Jarlyn (Present Attack) and it missed its attack.
Ghoral says that the Lord Marshall is escaping.
Glaive attacks.
Ghoral attacks. The creature wailes.

* Segment 8 (+1 OCV)
Perrol attacks. The creature screams.
Kross misses.
Jarlyn attacked. Hit x2. The creature wailes.

* Segment 9
The Shadow moves over to the Regent Mother and attachs. The Regent Mother goes down.
Glaive attacks. Hit x2. The creature wailes.
Ghoral misses.

* Segment 12 (+1 OCV)
Ghoral blocks the Shadow attack on the Regent Mother.
Glaive attacks. The creature screems. The Shadow screecks, shrinks and now shows the body of the guard from Wickshine.
Perrol and Kross will attack and will bounce off the darkness shield.
Ghoral misses.

Glaive moved.
Ghoral missed the desk.

* Segment 4
Perrol and Kross failed at moving the desk.
Jarlyn will heal the Regent Mother.
Glaive was able to unlock the door.

* Segment 6
There is a woosh, the black curtan drops and Lord Marshall is not there. There are some wisp of black smoke. Perrol see a fading glyph. Is able to tell that has something to do with travel.

The Ambush

August 14th

Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

We leave the office to look for Julienne.

We exit the castle, we are on the street when the others notice that there is no city guards in the areas we have been walking. Something is not right. Kross hears Perrol shield activates. The streets are thining out. We split the party into 3 and 2 with one on the left side and the other on the right side. With our weapons out, the people are getting nervous. Perrol heard that there are some people a block ahead waiting for a ambush us. On the left, Kross will find a alley and head up to the roof and Perrol will come over to even out the numbers.

We hear “You not going to make it easy for us?” Three guys step out of a alley. (They have swords and have harden leather.) Jarlyn prompts that the others step out. Three others step out from the other alley. They have been hire to take us out.

Kross will step back and missed his target.
Ghoral moves up.
They move up and 5 more show up behind us.
Jarlyn moves into the right alley (to check it out)and Perrol moves into the left alley.

<”Archers ready!” is called out and the boxies on the foof top explode to show 3 archers on each side. One near Kross.>
Perrol moved

Glaive moves up and dodges.
Ghoral moves up and dodges.
<”Attack Delta” is yealled.>

Perrol moves up and dodges.
Kross jumped over the alley to the other building (for a full move).
Jarlyn did a full move.
<”Archers first. Secondary first.”> The archers turn facing Kross. Total damage was 1 Body and 5 Stun.
(Used 2 Hero Points to move the location from the Head to the Left Hand.)
The 1st group moved up and 3 attacks Ghoral.

* Segment 6
Glaive moves and attacks (misses).
Ghoral attacks and knocks him down.

* Segment 7
Ghoral will abort to dodge.

* Segment 8  (+1 DCV)
Perrol moves to the back of the 1st group.
Kross will move off the roof to get to ground level and move to the rear of the 1st group.
Jarlyn moved
<”Back up, Up back, archers last.”> Leader moves back and dodges. The 1st group is moving out of the way of the archers. They attack with a hits. The 2nd group out of combat runs up.

* Segment 9
Glaive will move over to 2nd group and try to attack 5 of them in a sweep. 4 of the 5 hit, 2 down and 2 damaged.
Perrol does a presents attack.

* Segment 12  (+1 DCV)
Glaive moves and attacks, with 2 hits, 1 down.
Perrol moves and attacks their leader.
Kross will out of combat move along the alley towards the action.
Jarlyn attacks and hits for 1 hit that knocks him down.
Perrol took two solid hits and is dazed.
Glaive took 2 his with no damage.
Ghoral took some damage.
Ghoral missed the attack.

* Segment 3
Glaive will attack the 2 near her with 2 hits.
Ghoral hit the leader and dazed.

* Segment 4  (+1 OCV)
Perrol recovers and gets his sheild up.
Kross gets up to the roof of the other building and hits the leader for 12 stun.
Jarlyn attacks and knocks down one guy.
Leader recovers from being dazed.
Archers made some hits, with some damage on Glaive.

* Segment 6
Glaive will recover.
<The leaders says “If it will save my men, I will surrender if it will save his men.”>

Kross will hold. The others will run away from the battle.

Homecoming

August 6th

Arrival back to Tietha

Character and players in the game tonight:

Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

We are on the boat nearing the port in Tietha. Perrol noticed some flashing from a 2nd story building in the Guild/Professionnel area. Kross does know it is a type of morse code, but does not know what it is saying. Would normaly be used for the milatary and at times of crises.

It looks like the signal may be intended for someone on this ship. From the Wheel House, we notice the First Mate is writting down something and the second mate did look our way, then quickly looked away. Ghoral, Jarlyn and Perrol will go to the Wheel House. Kross and Glaive will keep our place and keep a eye on the guys and the area around them. They were allowed in to talk to the First Mate.

Find out from the others, that they are asked to delay our departure from the ship.

We find out that the Mirror did not totaly hide the magic of the tablets.

We talk it over with each other. There was a option that two of us would leave by small boat. We decide to stay on board and face the croud. We get there and see 7 wizards, 2 of which are in the mist of casting. Kross will see (from the ship) a boy with a tabord running from the docks to the temples. The ship comes into the docks, they have some problems with getting the ship tied up. Will see a cleric come up behind the wizards. She grabs her symbol and chants. A wizard approaches the ship. The wizards Bemmel comes over to us and says that they lost contact with the wizards they sent to the temple over a week and a half. They did send a wizard that specialized in tavel lasted long enough to pass on the group that we pass on the way back to Tietha has died. They are asking for us to be scaned by the cleric for disease. (Found out the two wizards where looking for odd or strange animals.)

One by one we head down the the plank. Kross and Perrol will notice a strange look on the cleric’s face when Jarlyn is scaned and is oked. We all get the ok that we are cleared of  disease. Currently it is 2pm. We will meet up with the wizards at 4pm.

 As we head towards the temple, people are running away, paladins come out in force due to what was detected (the evil from the tablets and the book). The old priest we meet up with shows up, we go off to the side and show him the items we had. The book was allowed in the temple to looked at destroyed if needed. The tablets were not allowed in the temple, did send for someone to look at them. The scroll will be passed on to looked at too. The priest shows up to look at the tablets and says they can be taken cared of and destroyed (outside town).

We will freshen up at the temple and head off to meet up with the wizards. Across from the mage academy, Perror gets attacked from behind with a crossbolt.

* Segment 12

Kross will move to the rear of the party and then use Missle Deflection power.

The other will help Perrol and move towards the mage academy.

*Segment 3

Ghoral will pick up Perrol and move ahead.

Glaive will move ahead.

*Segment 4

Kross will do a half move.

Jarlyn will move.

*Segment 5

The attacker will fire another crossbow bolt at Perrol and bounce off his sheld. Kross will spot where the atter is.

Kross will do the other half  and move towards the wall under the attacker.

*Segment 6

Glaive will move back some, go into the nearest shop and go inside.

Ghoral will follow Glaive into the store.

Panic Starts

*Segment 8

Kross was able to scale the two store building and spot the person on the other side of the building running. (Did use One Hero Point.) Kross did yell that the person was on the other side of the building.

Jarlyn heads into the shop.

*Segment 9

Glaive comes out of the store and moves.

*Segment 12

The attacker kept on running and jumped to the other side of the building and disapeared.

Glaive is moving. . .

Kross moved (his full movement) towards where the attacker was heading.

Jarlyn moves. . .

*Segment 3

Glaive is moving. . .

*Segment 4

Kross will move and jump over the alley, stumble, but stay standing one square away from where the attacker was hiding.

*Segment 5

The attacker got up and moved away and jumped off the building.

*Segment 8

Kross moved and jumped off the roof into the street. Kross will not see the attacker in the general area.

*Segment 12

Glaive comes out of the alley next to Kross.

Kross will notice the attacker had moved a good ways ahead.

Kross will run non-combat towards the attacker and is about 6in away.

We speed the action up.

Kross: With his Longbow, will hit the feet for 4 body and 7 stun.

Glaive: Will be able to get a good hit on his sholder.

Kross: With his Longbow, will hit the leg for 4 body and 18 stun.

Glaive: Will do a present attack on the attacker. He ends up falling, he is foaming the mouth, he laughts and dies. With his last breath he says: “That damed Noble.”

 We search the guy and find a red hued dagger

The Red Daggers group. Skilled group of assassin/mercenaries based out of Aarns. Its rumored they are able to anyone.

We pull the guy into the alley and do a detailed search of the assassin. We do not find the method of which he was poisoned. After our search Kross and Glaive will wait outside the alley.

The others are in the poition store.
