Oct 6th - 13th

in the Fort

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

Afternoon time. We are glowing blue and we are running towards to big bad’s tent.

We get to the edge of the camp before we are spotted.

Battle begins.

Glaive runs by one orc, slices it open and it goes down.

Perrol fumbles his attack.

Kross will fire two Bolts of Blasting towards the feet of the two guards, knocking them down for a total of 20 orc. (Damage: 21 S 7 B and 15 S 5 B)
Ghoral ran by the orc and missed.
The orc looks around and runs away.

Two sets of two tent bodyguard move from the left and right of the tent.

Kross will fire off two arrows (that glow blue) at one of the orc tent bodyguard. I hit his hand turning it to ground beef and nailing him in the chest killing him.

Orc and goblin are coming around the tent from the left and right.

Kross will fire off the last Bolts of Blasting to a group off to the right of the tent. Knocking a group of 13 down. (Damage: 29 S 8 B) With a 2nd arrow hits one in the vitals, killing him.

With the group off to the right, the 7 orc/goblin run away.

Three shadow come out of the shield around the tent and come towards Perrol and Jarlyn.(Kross does not see this.)

(The blue glow gives us a 1d6 K added to the damage and 3 DCV to armor.)

Kross will notice the 5 orcs that were knocked out, look around and run away.

The tent flap will open and the biggest orc we have seen steps out and lets tent flap close. He is standing behind the shield. He says, “You will feel the wrath of Sungraig.”

Some skeletons are rising from the right.

Sungraig steps out from the shield. Kross will fire two arrows into the chest with max damage, killing him.

The necromancer steps out to show him to be the Lord Marshal.

We are able to get the shield down and killed Lord Marshal/necromance.
With displaying the heads of the Lord Marshal and Sungrai, the enemy desperses to the wind with out looking back.

We get the Stone and find it to be part of a alter.

We find 4 Gold 8 Silver

We eventually get the tablet out and call the ship back. We eventually get the tablet out and call the ship back. On the way back to Tietha we are intercepted by a warship that escorts us back. We are met by some Paladins from Favored of Kilbern and a couple Hellreavers. Aldus Manus and Julliene meet us. They take the stone to a temple. There is a discussion among the high priests in town. We find out that it was an alter from one of the red gods churches, Lord of the Graven Spears; extremely evil. Aldus Manus asks us what we need; we have time to think.

Turned of the flying undead.

Oct 3rd - 4rd

There is a Flaming Undead Zombie Troll on the outside the keep. Glaive is dazed.

Roll a critical success in my Undead Knowledge for the Zombies. Hit location does not matter, its all about the damage. Kross will tell the others.

Kross, from the wall, fired 2 arrow with 2 hits, bring down 2 zombies that were attacking some of the keep guards.

With the others doing some damage, we are down to 6 of the 10 Zombies.

Jarlyn states that the previous turned Zombie Troll is walking back towards us.

The Zombie Trolls (one untouched and one some what flaming, with damaged leg and arm) are next to each other. Kross will fire 2 arrows for some damage.

The damaged Undead Troll picks up 2 undead goblin/orcs and chunks them into the keep.
Jarlyn spots the undamaged Undead Troll pick up the damaged one and chunks it into the keep, missing Ghoral (and breaking its leg).

Kross will fire 2 arrows at the Undead Troll outside the keep for some damage.

Kross will fire 2 arrows at the Undead Troll outside the keep for a little damage.

Kross will fire 2 arrows at the Undead Troll outside the keep, the Troll goes down.

The others have cleared out the keep’s courtyard of zombies.

<Note: 8 orc arrows used, was able to recover 4 of the arrows>

The battle is over, for now.

It is said that Ghoral was hit by something and was dazed. Kross was going to tackle Ghoral, to get him down on the ground, (with 2 Hero points used) this green ray barley missed him. We keep our head down.

A day passes where we recover and no attacks are done.

Night of the Undead.

Oct 2nd - 3rd

in the Fort

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

From the lighting strikes, there are bodies, some where between 5 - 15 dead for each strike.

Troll #1: Two hit for MAX damage to the head. (Used 2 AP arrows.)

Troll #1: Two hits, 4 and 6 damage to the head. (Used 2 normal arrows.) Glaive and Jarlyn did notice that part of the skull has caved in and is probably dead.

Troll #2: Hit the head for 6 damage and one crit roll to the head, that made the Troll dead.

We now have two Fire Arrows. Used one of the arrow. Got a good shot at the Siege Engine. The arrow hit inside it. There is smoke.
Will fire a 2nd arrow and hit inside again, in the same area.(2 Fire Arrows used)

The others say there are orc going inside/towards the Siege Engine.

Fired a arrow and hit a goblin in the chest. He goes down.
Fired a arrow and hit a orc in the vitals. He goes down.

It takes a few hours for the orc and goblins to regroup there forces.

It gets dark.

Some a digging is being done in the chapel. To get to the EVIL.

We are woken up by a request from Perrol. (After midnight at this time.)

Get to the wall and see undead in the courtyard.

Kross will move over to Perrol and have a look outside the keep. Seeing nothing (its dark outside.)

Will look for torches to throw outside the Fort. Get one thrown.

Tell other that Kross is getting oil to use with Fire Arrow vs Zombie Troll. Run to room to get from pack.

Kross will pick up the two flasks and the lamp. Threw one of the flasks, hit the chest of the one remaining Zombie Troll (the other one was turned). The oil covers it and flows down to a lit torch and now we have a Flaming Undead Zombie Troll. (Used 1 flask of oil.)

Oct 2nd

We start out at the mouth of the cave.

We head into the danger. Kross is in the back. We hear the sound of eating.

Suddenly the eating sound stops and Kross will smell the smell of blood (cow).

Suddenly Perrol lights a light.

The group will move up with Kross. Will see a group of 8 orc eating with one orc trying to grab his weapon.

Kross fires a Blast Arrow (stun damage/body damage): [#1] 23/6 (down), [#2] 19/6 (down), [#3] 12/3, [#4] 25/8, [#5] 22/6 (down), [#6] 23/6 (down), [#7] 19/5, [#8] 22/6 (down)

We are able to take down the rest of the orcs, which we find out to be miners (and week).

We all gather back in the Keep with the Lord.

A boon is used by Perrol to call a storm to smite the orc and goblins. Three of the four camps were hit. Found out that a tent was protected during the storm (probably the human necromancer). During the chaos, Kross will try to pick off some good targets.

Kross will Set and move the skill levels into the OCV, using the AP Arrows.

Troll #1 (surprised) - AP Arrows, hit the head for max damage of 7 body killing, stuning it

Troll #1 (stunned) - fired 2 AP Arrows, hit the head for max damage of 7 body killing / 2nd shot bounced off head.  KILLING IT?

Troll #2 - AP Arrows, hit the head for 5 k damage / 2nd shot bounced off hand

Troll #2 (stunned) - AP Arrows, hit the arm for 6 k damage / 2nd shot hit the shoulder for 6 k damage.  KILLING IT?

Note #1: did use 8 of the 10 AP Arrow.

Sept 16th

We now have a mission to investigate some missing men and some dealing with Orcs and Goblems.

We head to a place, not near the market, that is near the university for some spell ingredient for Glaive.

We are walking along a main road and we get attacked by bowmen (2 sets of 2 men). They mostly miss their target.

* Segment 12 (+2 DCV)
Kross will move out of the direct combat action. He heads off to his left and up the wall to the top of the building. He get a chance to look around and spots one off to his left and one to the right. Both are in cloak and are squat down.

With one of the archers de-handed, the two cloaked men spot Kross when they look around.

Kross hears a light whistle. Kross is attacked by the two cloaked guys, which pulled out a crossbow.

Kross takes some damage: Right Arm for 1 Body 2 Stun and Right Thighs 1 Body 1 Stun

Recovers: down 2 Body

* Segment 4 (+2 DCV)
Kross will pull out bow and strings it and fires a Bolt of Blasting at the cloaked guy (6 body/13 stun).

Kross will do a small move to look down the alley. Will see the alley blocked off a small of oil is around. Kross will fire a Bolt of Blasting for max people effect.

There is a loud whistle and the five guys on the ground, turn around and retreats. The two standing archers run aways.

August 19th

in Tietha (underground)

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

We unlock the cuff of the woman and get her on the floor. She tells us where to find the other prisoners.
Kross will see Crysten (the woman) tossing some loot around. (6 GP/18 SP is find.) If agreed upon, we will split the loot with the other prisoners.

We open the door to find 13 cells. We find 8 people alive. Crysten walks into the cell area, goes past Ghoral and opens a secret passage to a store room with the prisoner’s stuff (armor/weapons).

There is another secret door. We open it to find two orcs rolling dice. Kross hold his shot. Ghoral takes one out and Jarlyn takes out the other. Glaive says there are two other orc between two illusionary wall. Kross will fire a arrow each at the orcs, with Glaive following up killing them. From the four orcs, we find 4 (10) GP, 2 (20) SP and 20 CP which is added to the total money found.

Glaive finds another secret door in the far wall. We open it to find a small closet, which is traped. Kross will walk on the wall and open the secret door and head back. We see some chest in the middle of the room. All but Kross will go into the room, will see a walking stick leaning against the wall (we think it’s Crysten). The Gong comes alive to attack the group in the room.

Ghoral is attack and knocked out.

The others attacked and killed it. Kross is keeping a eye out for trouble.

There are three chests.

Chest 1: ~300 SP and 4 black keys (had demon heads on them)
Found a magic short bow. Dwarven made. More accurate than a normal, but less damage.
Chest 2: 2 poition (Dark Vision), Holy Symbol of the Godest Moon (Salea) and 23 GP
Masterwork Chain Shirt, Masterwork Leather Studded Armor, Silvered Long Sword  
Bowl with some gems in it: 19 gem (4 blue quartz [2gp each], 4 carnelions [8gp each], 4 peridot [10gp each], 2 white perls [15gp each], 1 pink perl [22gp each], 2 aquamarines [28gp each])

We leave the treasure and we head over the room acroos the bridge.

August 18th

We split the party to make a two prong attack. Currently Kross has one of the Flash/Bangs. It is recalled that one group does not have the lockpick skill. The far group, comes back and we decide that we should attack together. The door is unlocked and opened. We do not see anything. We head to the fake forest room and hide. Two people and a orc are spotted. Perrol knotice the orc knoticeing Glaive. Perrol yells “attack”.

* Segment 12 (+1 OCV)
The others hold the attack and Kross will attack with a Bolts of Blasting. Hit the area I was aiming for. Some damage is done.

* Segment 4 (+1 OCV)
Kross trys to use the Tangle Foot item vs the wizard, but missed the attack.

* Segment 8 (+1 DCV)
Kross drew his sword and moved up to attack (with punch) the near Shield Guy with a ok hit in the right arm. (+2 DCV)

* Segment 9
Kross took some damage ffrom the 2 arrow attacks. (19 stun, 3 body)

* Segment 12 (+1 DCV)
Kross will attack and miss. Will a get hit, but take no damage.

* Segment 4 (+1 DCV)
Kross will attack the same guy with a ok attack with some damage.

* Segment  8 (+1 DCV)
Kross will attack again with a solid hit to the head, which knock him out.

We cought up with the runners and finished them off. Kross finished off the downed orc.

The battle is over.

We all go around the the secret passage and head over to the room.

August 18th

With the secret door, Perrol does not hear anything. We open it and see a pit in a small room. At the botton of the 10 ft pit is a thunnel like the other. Kross will go down to see where it leads. It links up to some tunnels we have explored. Kross will check for tracks. Will find fresh track from the rock creatures. We take a different way to get there, when we are attacked by three rock creatures.

Perrol finished off the last one.

Battle over

We continue onto the passage and find a room. Find some drie blood. Ghoral and Perrol follow it to find a empty room with a stinky dead rock creature. A chest is spotted. Perrol checks the chest for traps, finds none, opens it and finds two dark robes, two flasks of oil, 3 sunrods, two twigs (tinder twigs), a stone, a ceramic mask (gnome sad face), and a silver ring shaped like a serpent with two tiny gems for eyes, and a ewer (pitcher) adorned with dancing Dryads and moss agates. Jarlyn performs detect evil, finds none, and Perrol does detect magic and doesn’t find any. Ghoral thinks the mask is worth about 5 sp, the ring 25 sp, and the ewer 8 gp. The stone is a thunder stone, which are flash bangs (grenades). We keep everything but the robes.

We head back to the west side to explore the passages to see what we can find. We find a room with four trees in it. Perrol is able to tell that it is all a illusions. In the NE area a secret door is found on the east wall. We open it to find a hallway between the “D” and “R” doors to the room that we need to go in. Some noise of about 6 people is heard. We head back to the forest room, we get the “D” door (with out the key) open, Ghoral and Jarlyn both jump thru the door and get the shock of their lift taking little to no damage. As a test, Kross fires arrow thru the door with no problems.

On the other side of the “D” door, a room is found that has a pool of water that is being filled by face with a open mouth (which is found out to be another illusion). Perrol looks in the room and see thru the illusion. Just at that time a lare spider jumps out of the illusion and attacks Perrol.

Kross will fire and hit with some damage to it.

* Segment 4 (+1 DCV)
Kross will move into the room and fire a Bolt of Blasting into the center of the ceiling. Some webbing went out ward in the blast. The others said there were 2 others churps up above.
Kross is attacked twice, with one hit on him. Kross is entangled.

Kross tries to break free.
Jarlyn kills the mother spider.

* Segment 9
Kross is freed from the web by Glaive.

* Segment 12 (+1 DCV)
Kross fires a Bolt of Blasting into the center of the ceiling, knocking one down onto the floor. The other small spider is now easy to see. The fallen spider is killed.

The last spider is killed.

The battle ends.

We find a pouch on the body with two gems and a stone, which is magical. Ghoral says it’s an ioun stone that grants magical powers to whomever holds it. He appraises the gems at ~10 gp each

August 18th

Perrol steps to the secret door and listens. Hears 3 centipede of them behind.

Glaive and Jarlyn are in front, Kross in the back of the room Set to fire if needed. The secret door is opened.

Kross will hold ready for attack.
Perrol will go defencive.
The centipede come in and head over to Glaive.
Glaive gets a hit on two centipede.
Kross will fire a arrow and hits one.
Ghoral moves up and kills one and Jarlyn kill one also, leaving one to miss attack on Glaive.

The last bug is killed.

Combat is over.

From last time, the whole room is filled with magic and empty book cases.

Glaive, Jarlyn and Perrol step into the room to look around. Perrol finds a dug out passage in the back of the room. He steps into the passage and finds it clear. Sees a long passage.

Jarlyn find a secret passgage with a small room behind it.

A message is played:

I am Emistul, librarian of this fair city.  The scrolls you seek have been destroyed to keep you and others from fading into nothingness.  The curse of the fading began here, in these mystic halls, and here it will remain.  Be careful what you find, and mind whatever magic was wrought here.

There are current centipede and the rock people tracks were a few months old along with some Ork tracks (years old) and Dwarf tracks (5-10 yrs old).

Going back to Room 24 to have a look at the passage. A long dug out passage.

We head to Room 1 for Kross to look for tracks. Find nothing of note.

Kross will go back up to the entrance and find several dwarven type tracks with 1 or 2 being draged or forced down the stares to the secret door. The forced people are only going in and not out. The secret door is open, nothing is seen and Kross will move up look into the room. The tracks look to have brushed away by the creature. Kross hears something and is jerked back away from the room seeing the creature from before appear in the room.

Kross is pulled back and no action is taken.

Perrol will go defencive.

Jarlyn and Ghoral kill the creature.

Battle ends.

Kross will jump down into the pit to find Perrol droped lantern. Kross spots a possable secret passage on the east wall in the secret room off the stares.

Kross will spot the trigger for the secret door. Perrol say he heard something. Glaive can tell there people raddling around. We decide that not to trigger the door and look at the passage in Room 2.

Perrol will go with Ghoral and head down the passage from Room 2. They find a long passage that splits left and right. We check out the right and find a room that requires a “E” key. We head back and take the left passage to find a room with two normal passages and one other dug passage out. Perrol and Ghoral head back to the group with Perrol uphappy they can not explore any more.

We compair what they find out and find a coralation to the currrent map. We head thru Room 4, off to the left and up the stares to find a doors marketed “N” and “D”. We open the “N” door to find a room with a cage in the center of the room with a knome in it. Jarlyn and Perrol go over to the cage. Its Norm’s assistant, Garmip. Food is given to him and says that he has been feed today. Says they come from a secret door.

The chest is not a chest. Jarlyn and Ghoral move up to the chest and it sprout arms and opens it mouth.

Perrol will rell that the creature in a Mimic, a magic creature that mimics thing and normaly get a surprise attack.

Kross will use the Set option and keep a eye on the secret door.

Perrol moved up and missed the attack.

Kross will hold for the time.

The battle is over when Ghoral kills it.

The cage is unlocked and we have Garmip wait up stares.

The game night ends.

Passages, Trap and Creatures

August 19th

A creature drops down from above:

* Segment 12  (+1 DCV)
Kross took 10 stun from a mental attack.
Kross can not tell what the creature is.
Kross moves up to the other platform and fires at the creature. Hits for a small amount of damage.
Glaive hit for a vital hit, it goes down, still alive and twitching.

* Segment 3
Glaive hits with two solid hits.
Ghoral hits doing sime damage.

* Segment 4
Perrol swings and choping off its beak, killing it.

Battle over.

Ghoral finds some shinny. Perrol feels no EVIL around and find two points of magic in the pile.

We find 24 silver in a pouch and 2 clear glass jars (green/healing? & orange)

See two doors ahead [in room 23].See a door labled “N” [room 25] and a door labled “I” [room 24]. We head over to the “N” door, Perrol use the key to open the door and steps in. There are three small spining wheels and one large loom. A secret door is spoted and opened. We see into a hallway with gears inprinted on the walls with a three inch wide holes in them.

Ghoral goes down the side hallway and trigger a trap where spikes come out from the three inch wide holes in the wall. Ghoral get spiked and took some damage. He will recover over some time. Glaive glides over to the room [room 29] and finds it empty.

Ghoral opens the secret door and we see four forges. In one of the quenching barrels we find the “I” key.

We double back to Room 23 and open the “I” door for Room 24. We see small desks. Maybe a school room. On the north wall we see a dug out tunnel and on the east wall, a secret door is found. It is opened and we see some magic mist.

Perrol steps in and looks around the room. Sees a bookcase.

* Segment 12 (+1 DCV)
We see four centipede get into the room before we close the door. One crawls up Ghoral’s leg. Glaive pulls one off Ghoral and Kross will slice into it for a little damage.

They moved and got under the skin of Ghoral’.

Glaive kills one.
Kross kills the other one.

The game ends for the night.
