Spent 10 xp to raised Kross SPD from 3 to 4.

We meet Oldest Manis, thanks us for our help and leaves. We are left with Julian. She offers us a house (with some staff).

Next day, we go shopping.

Arrow supplies

  • AP Arrow: 1 gp per 10 - will get 25 arrows for 2 GP.
  • Normal Arrows: 4 sp per 10 - will get 2 sets for 20 arrows for 8 SP.

Kross got declined service in the magic stuff shop because his history.

As part of a package deal, paid 2 GP and 8 SP. Updated the Current Equipment list.

Will meet with Oldest Manis in two days and tonight will meet with Julian.

The Blue Men Group

Oct 6th - 13th

in the Fort

Character and players in the game tonight:

Afternoon time. We are glowing blue and we are running towards to big bad’s tent.

We get to the edge of the camp before we are spotted.

Battle begins.

Glaive runs by one orc, slices it open and it goes down.

Perrol fumbles his attack.

Kross will fire two Bolts of Blasting towards the feet of the two guards, knocking them down for a total of 20 orc. (Damage: 21 S 7 B and 15 S 5 B)
Ghoral ran by the orc and missed.
The orc looks around and runs away.

Two sets of two tent bodyguard move from the left and right of the tent.

Kross will fire off two arrows (that glow blue) at one of the orc tent bodyguard. I hit his hand turning it to ground beef and nailing him in the chest killing him.

Orc and goblin are coming around the tent from the left and right.

Kross will fire off the last Bolts of Blasting to a group off to the right of the tent. Knocking a group of 13 down. (Damage: 29 S 8 B) With a 2nd arrow hits one in the vitals, killing him.

With the group off to the right, the 7 orc/goblin run away.

Three shadow come out of the shield around the tent and come towards Perrol and Jarlyn.(Kross does not see this.)

(The blue glow gives us a 1d6 K added to the damage and 3 DCV to armor.)

Kross will notice the 5 orcs that were knocked out, look around and run away.

The tent flap will open and the biggest orc we have seen steps out and lets tent flap close. He is standing behind the shield. He says, “You will feel the wrath of Sungraig.”

Some skeletons are rising from the right.

Sungraig steps out from the shield. Kross will fire two arrows into the chest with max damage, killing him.

The necromancer steps out to show him to be the Lord Marshal.

We are able to get the shield down and killed Lord Marshal/necromance.
With displaying the heads of the Lord Marshal and Sungrai, the enemy desperses to the wind with out looking back.

We get the Stone and find it to be part of a alter.

We find 4 Gold 8 Silver

We eventually get the tablet out and call the ship back. We eventually get the tablet out and call the ship back. On the way back to Tietha we are intercepted by a warship that escorts us back. We are met by some Paladins from Favored of Kilbern and a couple Hellreavers. Aldus Manus and Julliene meet us. They take the stone to a temple. There is a discussion among the high priests in town. We find out that it was an alter from one of the red gods churches, Lord of the Graven Spears; extremely evil. Aldus Manus asks us what we need; we have time to think.

Oct 6th

in the Fort

Lord Redwater ask for the group (Noon-ish).

Said they are burning the bodies, which could be used in making Ghost and/or Skeletons (Normal, with Claws, Hunter).

There is a knock on the door, says there is someone reproaching the keep. We get to the wall and they are already walking back towards their camp. They say Sunkrag is going to wait us out and have us starve.

Sunkrag is the orc leader.

2 hits to the foot and the thigh of the orc that had their back turned and walking away. Goes down.
2 hits in the stomach with some solid damage. Also goes down.

We go back to the Lord’s office.

A cat shows up in front of Kross and hisses at him. Perrols yells “Kross duck!”. Kross is slow to react (missed DEX by 3).
He next says there is a ghost behind Kross.

Glaive does a sweep behind Kross (hear some wailing), Kross then ducks and pulls his sword and then Perrol attacks (more wailing).

The ghost attacks Kross. With some presser on the his head, Kross hears whispers “Attack the Lord”. It did not affect Kross. Kross will dive out of the way and away from the ghost.

The ghost is dispatched.

Talking about options to attack the orcs.

We take some horse across the river and then back over the river, upriver.

Ghoral used his BOON used.

We are glowing blue.

Five that go to Sea

Oct 3rd - 6th

in the Fort

Character and players in the game tonight:

Night of the 5th, a fire arrow is seen over the water. They are saying it is the resupply they were waiting for.

Perrol, Ghoral and Glaive are on the walls. Some action is seen in the enemy camp.

Kross will get woken up for a meeting with the higher ups.

The supply ship is near. Our group with 3 green solders to help with rowing and with the supply ship.

Kross see able to see the ship in the distance.

We row out and as we are heading towards the supply ship, Kross will notice fighting on deck.

Kross will fire a few arrow at the enemy on the ship.

2 hits - L Arm and R Foot - 7 and 5

2 hits- Chest and Vitals - 7 and 8

We are at the ship. Kross gets Perrol onto the ship. With the others soon to follow.

Kross will head up the crow’s nest to get a good vantage point to pick off some orcs.
Kross will see 4 orcs setting fires.
Will see 2 going down into the nearest hold and the other 2 into the next hold.

Kross with try to hit the 1st group going down in the hold.

2 hits - with low damage, that they take no damage due to armor.
Others are able to take care of them.

Kross with try to hit the 2nd group going down in the hold.

2 hits - chest and R Hand - 7 and dazing him / 9 and dazing him also.

We are able to gain control of the battle. We take care of the orcs and put out the fire.

Kross was able to find and gather 10 of the oil filled bags the orc were caring.

We ask the captain to stick around for a few days to take the artifact back to Tietha.

We load the boats and head back to land. Kross will head up the wall with some boxes of arrows. Did find out that they were attacked soon after we left. Most everyone has some damage taken during the battle.

Kross will deal with the dead, so they can not be used as undead attacker.

Lord Redwater ask for the group (Noon-ish).

Was able to retrieve all my arrows.

Turned of the flying undead.

Oct 3rd - 4rd

in the Fort

There is a Flaming Undead Zombie Troll on the outside the keep. Glaive is dazed.

Roll a critical success in my Undead Knowledge for the Zombies. Hit location does not matter, its all about the damage. Kross will tell the others.

Kross, from the wall, fired 2 arrow with 2 hits, bring down 2 zombies that were attacking some of the keep guards.

With the others doing some damage, we are down to 6 of the 10 Zombies.

Jarlyn states that the previous turned Zombie Troll is walking back towards us.

The Zombie Trolls (one untouched and one some what flaming, with damaged leg and arm) are next to each other. Kross will fire 2 arrows for some damage.

The damaged Undead Troll picks up 2 undead goblin/orcs and chunks them into the keep.
Jarlyn spots the undamaged Undead Troll pick up the damaged one and chunks it into the keep, missing Ghoral (and breaking its leg).

Kross will fire 2 arrows at the Undead Troll outside the keep for some damage.

Kross will fire 2 arrows at the Undead Troll outside the keep for a little damage.

The others have cleared out the keep’s courtyard of zombies.

The battle is over, for now.

It is said that Ghoral was hit by something and was dazed. Kross was going to tackle Ghoral, to get him down on the ground, (with 2 Hero points used) this green ray barley missed him. We keep our head down.

A day passes where we recover and no attacks are done.

Night of the Undead.

Oct 2nd - 3rd

in the Fort

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

From the lighting strikes, there are bodies, some where between 5 - 15 dead for each strike.

Troll #1: Two hit for MAX damage to the head. (Used 2 AP arrows.)

Troll #1: Two hits, 4 and 6 damage to the head. (Used 2 normal arrows.) Glaive and Jarlyn did notice that part of the skull has caved in and is probably dead.

Troll #2: Hit the head for 6 damage and one crit roll to the head, that made the Troll dead.

We now have two Fire Arrows. Used one of the arrow. Got a good shot at the Siege Engine. The arrow hit inside it. There is smoke.
Will fire a 2nd arrow and hit inside again, in the same area.(2 Fire Arrows used)

The others say there are orc going inside/towards the Siege Engine.

Fired a arrow and hit a goblin in the chest. He goes down.
Fired a arrow and hit a orc in the vitals. He goes down.

It takes a few hours for the orc and goblins to regroup there forces.

It gets dark.

Some a digging is being done in the chapel. To get to the EVIL.

We are woken up by a request from Perrol. (After midnight at this time.)

Get to the wall and see undead in the courtyard.

Kross will move over to Perrol and have a look outside the keep. Seeing nothing (its dark outside.)

Will look for torches to throw outside the Fort. Get one thrown.

Tell other that Kross is getting oil to use with Fire Arrow vs Zombie Troll. Run to room to get from pack.

Kross will pick up the two flasks and the lamp. Threw one of the flasks, hit the chest of the one remaining Zombie Troll (the other one was turned). The oil covers it and flows down to a lit torch and now we have a Flaming Undead Zombie Troll. (Used 1 flask of oil.)

The point of the arrow.

Oct 2nd

We start out at the mouth of the cave.

We head into the danger. Kross is in the back. We hear the sound of eating.

Suddenly the eating sound stops and Kross will smell the smell of blood (cow).

Suddenly Perrol lights a light.

The group will move up with Kross. Will see a group of 8 orc eating with one orc trying to grab his weapon.

Kross fires a Blast Arrow (stun damage/body damage): [#1] 23/6 (down), [#2] 19/6 (down), [#3] 12/3, [#4] 25/8, [#5] 22/6 (down), [#6] 23/6 (down), [#7] 19/5, [#8] 22/6 (down)

We are able to take down the rest of the orcs, which we find out to be miners (and week).

We all gather back in the Keep with the Lord.

A boon is used by Perrol to call a storm to smite the orc and goblins. Three of the four camps were hit. Found out that a tent was protected during the storm (probably the human necromancer). During the chaos, Kross will try to pick off some good targets.

Kross will Set and move the skill levels into the OCV, using the AP Arrows.

Troll #1 (surprised) - AP Arrows, hit the head for max damage of 7 body killing, stuning it

Troll #1 (stunned) - fired 2 AP Arrows, hit the head for max damage of 7 body killing / 2nd shot bounced off head.  KILLING IT?

Troll #2 - AP Arrows, hit the head for 5 k damage / 2nd shot bounced off hand

Troll #2 (stunned) - AP Arrows, hit the arm for 6 k damage / 2nd shot hit the shoulder for 6 k damage.  KILLING IT?

Note #1: did use 8 of the 10 AP Arrow.

Note #2: Use the fire arrows in the next game.

Our time in the keep.

Oct 2nd

in and around the Fort

Character and players in the game tonight:
Glaive (Janielle), Ghoral (Bill), Jarlyn (Dennis), Perrol (Bob) and Kross (Heath)

The horses are striped and tied down, so they do not wander off. At low tied Kross will head back over to get the boat. On our side, Kross will spot a patrol of orcs on the opposite side. Will wait till the orc pass and head across the river.

Got to the wall and called up (so he would not get shot), Jarlyn calls back and said its ok to come up. Informs of the plan to bring the others over to the keep.

Ask about the boat. Told where it is and they will send a guy with Kross and Jarlyn to help find the boat. We find the spot and set off to get the others. We get the others and come back towards the keep. Our cargo is off loaded near the keep and all but the private and Kross will get out. They will row back and hide the boat again.

Caption Ullerson meets up with us. He takes us to the young lord.

We get to the lord and Perrol says there is something there, pointing right past and behind Kross (and to grab the cat). Kross does not seeing anything there, but knows that with his visiojarlynn, there could be something there. Both Perrol and Ghoral both get a hit. It devolves and Kross knows it to be ghosts (and from Jarlyn, EVIL).

Burne is from Thordar and they subscribe to the High Church (they can do priest magic).

Find out that the high priest died two weeks ago, about four days before the orc attack.

We are looking around the keep and are starting with the priest’s room.

Ahead, will see Perrol and Jarlyn look into the chapel, Perrol and Jarlyn are zoned out suddenly (mental damage) , with Jarlyn also throwing up.

Jarlyn is making plans to improve his mental defenses.

We go into the chapel.

Jarlyn detect evil underneath the chapel.

A inscription is found on the podium/alter that is in the chapel. It reads:

“Once set in a wall of black, now behind walls of white, the alter stone lies buried. The sacred place built around it.”

We search the library and find one scroll in a chest that’s different. It’s a map of keep called Stonegard and it has a black square in it. Kross notices that almost half of the foundation could cover same foundation. Kross also notices there may be an entrance on the cliff face.

We explore for the tunnel on the cliff face and we find what might be a set of stairs and then above it is a place in the cliff wall that has a crack. There are fresh orc prints going into it, i.e. within the last 24 hours

Journey into Castle land.

Oct 1st - 2nd

in the Fort

We are on a hill on the other side of the river. (Lord Redwater is in charge of the castle.)

We currently have 2 orc tied up unconscious. We wake him up for some questions.

This orc is from Thordar in Mitharia.

The 3 group arrived a few days ago.
Said he and the other orc are scouts.

Kross and Jarlyn will make our way across the river and into the castle. We head down to the water.

Kross will take off his armor and leave his sword. Will take knife, bow and a quiver of arrow.

Roll Stealth by 6 as we head to the river.

We make it to the edge where the humans in the fort spot us and fire on us (not hitting us). We get them to stop firing at us and we cross the river. We get to the wall’s edge, ask if it ok to come up and talk. Got ok. Kross will carry Jarlyn up the wall to their surprise. We ask to speak to their leader.

Taken to one of the Castle’s towers. A higher up leads us to Lord. The Lord knows of our Group 42. We inform him of things.

Kross will head back to meet up with the other.

Meet up with the others and inform of what we learned at thenCastle. We camp away and set up double watches.

Burne found us on the last watch with Kross/Perrol.

Burne says he rec a message from the High Church, saying the priest had a vision that if the Castle fell, they should find out what the other orc take from the Castle and follow them.

Sunkrag, said to be a Child of a God (one of their god). A larger than normal orc. Said to have a  Human Necromancer with them.

We do decide to let them go and Ghoral will follow them for awhile.

Oct 1st

Traveling

Tracked Glaive’s run away horse down.

Found 7 + 9 + 6 = 22 arrow.

Made my tracking by 7 to find where the orc came from. About a mile out, we find a wolf’s den. We light a lantern and see a trap. Perrol cut the rope. We see 4 backpacks.

15cp (3cp each)

Find a faint trail that is heading back to the main road.

As we continue to travel, a orc head to spotted 500m away. Ghoral will stealth around one way and Kross will stealth around the other way.

Will get to the max needed range and fire two blunted arrows: 15s 5b + 21s 6b for damage with the two blunt arrows to the head. He is out.

We tie him up and have ride with Perrol.

We continue on.

We spot a orc mostly up a hill. Kross will get off his horse, set and fire two blunt arrow at him: 21s 6b + 17s 5b damage. He goes down. We have a look at him. Looks like the other one. A normal type orc.

Perrol will look over the hill and see four camp of orc and goblins around the castle.
