Mid-Morning
Kross will be going to the Mage Academy to do research on the Undead. (1 SP spent to use the library)
The others are going about some personal business.
- Glaive (Janielle) gos off with Ghoral and Perrol. She met up with some earthy type look. The others leave her with the guy.
- Ghoral (Bill) will be going out shopping (looking for something). Runs into his cousin and goes off to get a drink(s).
- Jarlyn (Dennis) will be going off to a temple to learn about resurrection.
- Perrol (Bill) is tagging along Ghoral to pick up another healing potion. Tags along with Ghoral to get a drink(s).
We get back for lunch (all except for Glaive). About midway thru lunch, a Messenger comes over to our table wearing the city colors. Ask if we are willing to meet with the Magistrate at the 2 o’clock hour and talk to him about the cut purse and the pocket thief. A map is drawn on how to get there. Perrol will go up to the owner’s wife. She is going at 3 o’clock and says that the Magistrate is not needed unless there is a murder. Jarlyn points out that the paints cuff looked dirty, different for the outfit. We take our hand drawn map up and ask her if this is correct way to the Magistrate Office. She says No. The directions would take up to a poorer area / temporary place.
We are looking to hire someone to gave a look at the location. We all go out in the normal dress. For 1.5 SP we find 4 people (2 men / 2 youths).
We tell tell them what we are looking for them to find out:
- Main Exits
- Numbers of Exits
- Type of roof
- Surrounding buildings
- Look inside (if possible)
- People hanging around
They ask if we have a ball. Say No. Say they can get one for 1 CP. The given to one of the kids and he runs off to get a rag ball.
We send them on their way. While they do that, we armor up. Kross will try to Concealment himself (fail by 3) for when they return. The 2 men come down the street talking normally and a little later the 2 kids appear kicking the ball. We go over what they find out what they found about the building they scouted.
Here is what they found out:
- The building is on a corner.
- The building is two stories tall.
- The roof is slightly tilted.
- On the East side of the building, there is a large gap (wide alley, fit horse card) between the two building. (The other building is two stores.)
- On the North side of the building, the building are close together, there is small gap alley and a possible exit door. (The other building has slanted roof.)
- The main door is on the West side.
- The is a large set of doors on the East side that are used for unloading carts.
- Windows on the first floor: 2x West, 2x South and 1x East
- Windows on the second floor: 3x West, 2x South and 2x East
- Looked in the South West window and spotted 3 men playing cards.
- There are two men dressed as City Guards armed as guard with reinforced leather and swords on each side of the Main door on the West side.
- There are two men dressed as workers loafing around the East side door.
- Off to the West, in the building across the street (from the main door), inside the both of the windows, are men keeping look out .

The scouts are paid and set on their way.

Note: We need to check out the real Magistrate office and see if is still in use. Also, maybe check with the real City Guard and tell them what is going on.
