We head back to the inn to find a page waiting for us.

We towards the keep and showed into a room. They lock the door, but come back in a few min to check on us. We state that we do not want to be locked in the room. Caused a little commotion.

We meet with the Captain of the Guards.

Thanks us by giving us some diamonds (15). 3 diamonds each at 50 GP each.

We go to the docks and find a large crowd (trying to get out of the city).

There is one guy left alive. He has been healed up some. Still has a broken arm. Jarlyn sets the arm, he was just about to wake up, but went out again. We tie him up, to play it safe.

He wakes up.

1 more days pass. We meet up with the road guard the Order of Es. Kiruin (Paladin Order, the solders of the church, aka Solders of the Blue). Basically inform of out prisoner and the return of the  baby.

We see a group of 10. They stop at 100 m they stop. Three start walking towards us. Kross will hang back some.

The symbol does look like the ring we found.

Guards of King Sendres

The Captain of the Guard is called up.

This is the baby they were looking for.

We are escorted to the city. It take 2 day to get to the city.

We talk to Fredrick Harse, Captain of the King’s Guard.

We give our names (Kross’s first name only) and out group name of Group 42 (got a eye brow raise).

The kid (Elric Sendres) will become the ward of the state (due to the recent killing of his parents).

Directed to Orange Griffin Inn, which is a half block away. Informed by the boy page, that the inn is not the best inn. We are taken to the Shaggy Dog Inn.

After 2 days, Granslag will be moves to another (his own) room.

We will be spending a week in the city called Ytheis

We are plan on heading to Aarn.

It will take 7 day to get to Dynnar.
On day 3 of the trip, we see a rider coming our way.
Perrol see that it is a woman (with 2 arrow in her back) with a child (in a basket) at full gallop.
Ghoral (from his horse) is able to grab the horse and stop it. The woman is dead and tied to the basket and the horse.

The kid is 1 yr old boy.

The lady is dressed a servant.

We find baby supplies, coin purse (25gp), scroll, necklace and camping supplies in the saddle bags.

The baby is dressed as a lower class, but has some better quality outfits.

Perrol find a hidden magic ring and 6 diamond.

The horse is of a good breed. There is a brand on the horse, that match the signet ring.
Belt pouch: 6 SP, 5 GP and 2 Pearl.
Also has a short sword and a dagger.

Perrol will read the scroll. Elric Sendres of Dynnar.

Will spot 5 horse coming our way. 3 of the 5 are armored. The 2 that are not, are a man and a woman.

2 of the guards are ahead of the others. They stop 15m from the group.

Perrol signals to Kross to attack .

S12: The woman on the horse attacks Kross, but misses and hits one of there men, which falls off the horse dead(?).
Kross will fire on the unarmored guy with a great shot to the vitals, knocking him off the horse dead(?). (1x AP Arrows)

S3: Kross hits the woman in the head, killing her(?). The only one left, flees away on his horse. (2x AP Arrows)

S6: Kross will hit twice with 2 good hits and he is still riding away. (2x AP Arrows)

S9: Kross will hit twice with 2 good hits and he falls down dead(?). (2x AP Arrows)

Retrieve 2 of the 4 AP Arrows for the guy that ran. Will drag the body back to the others.

Was able to retrieved the 3 other  AP Arrows. (Total retrieved 5 of the 7 fired.)

Two Great Axes in good shape.

Two Heavy Bows in good shape.

With the sounds of predators taking care of the clean up, Perrol can not sleep. He will take over the watch.

2 days pass with out issue.

On days 3, we spot a group of people riding towards us on the road.

It is the Order of Es. Kiruin (Paladin Order, the solders of the church). Solders of the Blue

There are 8 of them, with one of them having more flair. They are slowing down.

There posture went from cautious to more of a confusion.

Perrol does notice them having some magic items.

We stop 15 m from the other group.

They patrol the border area.

We say our good byes, we continue and they turn around and continue at a faster trot.

With 1 more day of travel, we find a small town with a inn. Will stay the night.

With 5 more days of travel, we get to where we need to be.

The outside area of the city is the poorer area and is not walled off.

We get to the first walled off area. The way is guarded.We pass on to continue.

We come to a 2nd gate, the guy on the right does not look right. He is magiced out. (He is a Hell Reaver.) Rolled a 3 on my perception.

We are escorted in by the Hell Reaver.

We are taken to see the Bishop that is named.

We are given a room. We go there.

Feb 23 - Mar 1

With day 5 of 22, we head out.

With 8 more day pass when that night Glaive is surprise with a arrow to the chest.

With a missed arrow, it makes some noise. There is a lot of running being hear coming towards the camp.

Perrol yells out “Four Trolls!”

Kross will hop up, run to the fire and dump the extra wood on the fire. Will head up a tree to get a good vantage point on the attackers.

With the fire burning brighter, will see 4  ogres.

Kross will hear chanting.

Kross will this hoard of spirits attacks him for -18 PRE, which will bring it down to -8 . (This will make him bolt at the slightest Boo). A arrow comes close and whisper comes across saying something.

Kross will runs, dropping his bow. (out of combat running away - actions: 7)

Kross is able to recover 10 PRE and comes to his senses and heads back to the group.

Kross will drink the Darkvision potion on his way back to the group.

Able to recover 5 more for my PRE. Current total of PRE is 7.

Now back at the camp, Kross is able to find his bow. String it and get off one shot.

We defeated all, but the one ran away.

We will be staying at the house as before.

The day passes with no issues.

Perrol get a message from Lady Giroflee (aka Julienne) about booking passage.

We booked a boat ride to Bridgerton at no cost with being guards for the trip.

The boat leaves in 4 days.

The boat trip will take 13 days to get to Bridgerton.

With a horse, it will take  22 days to reach Ytheis.

Horses will cost 5 GP for all our mounts and 15 SP for food for the horses. (Party funds will be used for this cost.)

Kross will get:

Cooking Spices (4 weeks of use) for 4 SP

20 AP Arrow for 2 GP

20 days of Trail Rations for 2 GP

= 4 GP 4 SP

Kross will go with Perrol to see Heather. Heather is out of town.

We leave and get to Bridgerton with out any issues.

We unload the horses and are heading towards the town bridge. The others spot 2 humans (paladin and fighter) maybe talking about our group.

We head towards the two. They are Michael and Hamilton.

We are informed that people are after the priestly orc.

We leave the city, four days out on Kross’ watch he will hear some light running. Will hear a female voice saying “Help”. Poked two others awake. We find a young girl in need of help. Her father had accident with the wagon.

Perrol and Ghoral go to help.

They bring back the father and two kids. The kids are wary of Glandslag and Glaive. Perrol plays some music to calm the kids.

Jarlyn used a healing potion.

The father is healed and fit to travel. He head on their way.

Kross will spot a kid with some heraldry markings. We do not know who’s it is.

There is a increase in military presets in the area.

We head to the palace.

We see Julienne to get the low down.
A rock elemental did some damage to some of the town (where the slavers and assassins hang out) before being taken down.

A orphanage that we had sponsored burned down.

Lady Giroflee (aka Julienne) made a donation to the church to help rebuild the orphanage.

Kross (and the others) gave 20 GP for donation for the church for the orphanage. Asked to keep it discreet.

We get into port and into town.

We find a place to off load the two prisoners for no cash.

Meeting up with a local cop type guy at a restaurant near the dock (can see the ship from there).

Perrol and Kross see Chad at a distance. He see us and moves away around a corner and disappears.

We find a seat, order a bottle of house wine (2 SP) and a shadow of Chad appears at our table.

Chad gave the group some locations for what we needed: Avana Inn / Jaen (potion/minor item shop)

Jarlyn tossed the dagger we found (with the evil symbol) overboard.

We get from the First Mate (from the other ship):

With the Captain, he changed it so that he will only get 5 GP a head. Disregarding the 20% from any bounty.

We are going to search the Evil Captain and the room he has been placed. Kross with a guard will keep a eye on him. The only item of note was the Evil Captain’s belt.

We move the other crew and offer over to their own ship.

Kross think the other ship is heading towards Sarreshar or Tornath (these are ports).

Tornath - Plutocracy; Farming, Fishing, Livestock, Crafts (Part of the 7 League).

Sarreshar - Hereditary Monarchy (Prince is ruling, King/Queen have disappeared 3 yrs ago); Farming, Fishing, Livestock, Crafts, Wine (Part of the 7 League).

Talked to the First Mate. He thinks the other ship will be heading to Tornath. Suggest to go to Sarresha for repairs. He agrees.

No issues during the night.

Glandslag wakes up.

During the next watch, Perrol hears sings. Gets everyone up. Kross will watch the door to the prisoners.

The others with Glandslag, have a talk with the Evil Captain. (Stuff happens) Find out the Evil Captain was singing, affecting the others.

During Kross’ watch, the guy with the thing in his head  comes down to ask if Kross needs anything. The guy surprised attack and missed Kross. Will disarm him and he will pick the belaying pin. He missed the attack again. Get a good vital (NND) attack. At this time Perrol joins in for a good attack. At this time, he yells out in surprised. Drops the belaying pin and says he was compelled to attack.

Kross will have a look into the prisoner’s room and see the Evil Captain chuckling (while he is bound and gagged).

The Evil Captain is knocked out.

The Evil Captain is killed, beheaded and tossed overboard.

The Captain did come down and have a talk with us.

What to do about the ship.

We are all in the other ship’s hull.

A book is found to be evil and non-magical. (To be burned.)

A trunk, a backpack and a few other items were found.

The trunk is reviewed and found it to have a poison trap.

2 x pearls (~10gp)
1 x diamond (~50gp)
5gp in coins

In the saddlebags there is the normal adventuring basic stuff.

In offers area, the following is found:

3 x pearls (~10gp)

The other ship maps were left on the other ship, Kross and Ghoral will go and fetch them. Got them and tubed them up in their waterproof container.

On the way back from the other ship, the First Mate ask if he can look over the maps . It take a hour to review the maps.

When reviewed, part of the maps are fake or incorrect.

Having some talks with the First Mate of the other ship about ransom the ship back to them.

* The final out come is for 400 gp, will not look at the other ship logs and we will turn in the 3 evil people.

We are going down into the hold of the other ship to have a second look around.
Kross will notice that some one searched both bodies and also moved the bad burned sword.

2 x pearls (~10gp)

Kross will notice a blood trail leading up the back stair. A body is found near the top of the stairs.
We found a vile (of what may be poison ) and a dagger with the evil god.

Game ends for the night.
