Kross and Ghoral see wisps of smoke off in the distance (seaside) on the port side. About 10 minutes later, Jarlyn and Glaive see the smoke and it appears to be getting larger. Speculation is that it’s from a ship that is on fire. The captain heads towards the smoke. When we get there, we see three dhingys around ship like ours that is 90% sunk. There are people in the dhingies, plus one with people hanging outside one dhingy. Glaive thinks something is wrong. After a little while, she realizes there are more dhingies than the boat could have held……..it’s trap. Perrol also thinks it looks like they are preparing to board/attack. Glaive and Perrol go to tell the 3rd mate it’s a trap. We decide to ram one of the dhingies and Perrol hears some of the people in the dhinghies realizing the gig is up. Kross fires a bolt of blasting at one of the other dhingies, hits DCV 12 for 26 stun and 8 body. We ram one the one dhingy, Perrol kills two people with his bow and Jarlyn kills another with his crossbow. Kross kills one and injures another. The captain swings around and runs over another dhingy. As we get ready to kill more, we see that they are wanting to surrender. Perrol yells up to the captain that they appear to be surrendering, but we continue to head around for killing more. Jarlyn heads up to the captain, to make sure he knows they were trying to surrender and he overhears them discussing what to do. The decision is made to leave them. We arrive at Banska-Morav and more people get on/off. A day after we leave, we reach a huge castle, Oros Geherla, but continue on. In another day we come to another huge fortification, Oros Dosovo, but continue on. On the fifth day of the trip, we will see a large stone coming out of the ground, Ettin Stone. We stop, we are prepared in case there is trouble. The 3rd mate says it’s to prepare for the last leg as it can sometimes be the most harrowing, due to the necromancer from the Tower of Bones and the history associated. Perrol and Jarlyn purchase 10 masterwork arrows/bolts for 1.2gp (per person); +2 Range Modifier. Ghoral becomes enthralled with a Devyldran language book and buys it for 6 GP, Perrol is not comfortable with the purchase. The merchant says, “You are wise to listen to your patron” to Ghoral. Perrol asks who the patron is, and the merchant says Ulinoor.
