Back online for the game. We kicked some Necromancer and Shadow butt last week. What’s in store for this week? Stay tuned.

Kross and I go downstairs to see if we can find the Innkeeper, the other guys and the kids. The others will check on other people in the Inn.  Perrol cleans up the wifes blood. I heal the child that was hurt. Innkeeper gives me a 100 yr old bottle of Wickshine Brandy. Ghoral says it would be worth 100 gp. We offer to bury the wife but Innkeeper says there will be a service and the town will take care of it.

Loud thunder clap and some stones fall out of the chimney. One has strange language. Innkeeper says there was a rumor that over in the orchard there was a “wicked shrine” for an evil church that was destroyed thousands of years ago. This is where the name of the town came from - Wickshine. I know that some religions had their own writing. The Inn is 200-300 years old.

We go to search Necromancers body and room. There is a brand on the left shoulder that matches the siguel on the stone. He is carrying 2 gp, which are similar to the gold piece we saw him give to the shadow guy earlier with a horn skull on one side and the other side is similar to writing on the brick. Urn is a heavy cylinder of copper with the same siguel (broken triangle inside a circle).  Other than traveling cloths, 50 gp, quarterstaff, and an amulet. I use Skyfathers Eyes spell and determine that the 2 coins are extremely evil, a sense of evil all around kind of like a cloud (incense is evil), and the urn is evil, I detect no evil from the stone, except incense residue, and the amulet is neutral. Traveling gear included a small silver mirror.

We take the Necromancer to the orchard to burn and notice much of the ground is disturbed. Ghoral, Perrol, and Kross notice that the trees have buds.  Perrol goes back to the inn to tell of the buds. The rest of us search the orchard but find nothing. On the way back to inn after burning the body, notice a chunk out of the chimney where the lightning struck. Perrol checks children and determines the symbol on them is a slave symbol. He asks innkeeper about the children and it turns out that they showed up several years ago. Both girls seem to be interested in brother, so not related. Kross goes to check the kids room, but nothing really there.

We show the symbol and writing to the other people in the inn and no one knows. As people come in, we ask them as well but no one recognizes the siguel. Some children asks what they are looking at and one little girl  recognizes it from a wall in the orchard. She takes us to the wall. I detect pockets of evil where the ground is broken but nothing from the stone.

Glaive takes the silver mirror and quarterstaff (4d6; +1 ocv). Ghoral takes the dagger (1d6 -1; str min 6) from the traveling gear. We each take 10 gp. I carry the evil gold coins and urn wrapped as well as the amulet. Ghoral will carry the stone.

We each earn 4 exp points and one hero point.
