Slice of Glaive

Tips on How to Play Glaive

General roleplaying
Glaive had a rough life, starting with her childhood. After the death of her family, she lived on the street, which was doubly difficult due to being a cursed (Ulronai). Remember the very nature of her people means that she takes a -3 penalty to all peaceful, positive social interactions. Due to this, she is cautious about speaking up and interacting. Also, her upbringing has made her suspicious of the judicial system and to some small extent the entire government. She is decent at interrogating, but will make a subject who is not already hostile, hostile and a hostile subject, exceedingly so. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and would defend them before defending herself. Not to say that she has any tolerance for wandering hands.

Ulronai culture (as I’ve been playing)
The Ulronai are an insular culture because of their curse. They were good guys who fought so well against the Lord of the Graven Spear that he cursed them into perpetuity. Loyalty to family groups and the People as a whole is the highest point of honor. One does not teach the language, the martial art, or, most importantly, the magic to outsiders. She can be a bit twitchy about people and ideas that contradict this dictum. Since she is so closemouthed about her own magic, her teammates know that she is working on something but not what it is or what she really needs for it.

Fighting
Glaive habitually goes first, but is perfectly willing to hold if she deems it prudent. She is a striker and so prefers to attack hard and fast. Her weapon is armor piercing and she can attack twice every segment. However, this drains her endurance and she will eventually switch to only one attack per segment or even taking a recovery during her turn. Once she has killed her opponent, she will take one off of a teammate who is facing too many or go after the boss.
The following is what I use to calculate martial manuvers (the +1 are my two combat skill levels):

Orushidaila OCV=19+1-roll DCV=10+1 Damage=1d6+1
Orunatiya OCV=20+1-roll DCV=7+1 Damage=1.5d6
Oruskormaeli OCV=16+1-roll DCV=8+1 Damage=2d6
Thasori OCV=0 DCV=12+2

End 36
Stun 25
Body 11
Base OCV 7
Base DCV 7
